06/22/2007: "McCormick & Kuleto's Seafood Restaurant - San Francisco, CA"
They always say, if you visit San Francisco, you must always try the great clam chowder at SF's Fisherman's Wharf. So in the middle of our excursion to San Francisco, we hunkered down at McCormick & Kuleto's Seafood Restaurant, it was definitely upper class and had a great view of the water! Wish I had a picture to show you...but here are some good eats from the restaurant!
Beautiful shot of the restaurant outside...Click for more pictures!
Do I need to say more?
Our first appetizer (yes I said first!), a shrimp cocktail. The shrimp looks so plump and juicy! I'm not actually a big fan of shrimp cocktail, but my friend enjoyed it very much!
Omg...salivation! This was our oyster appetizer, it was very good! Although, I did enjoy fresh oysters at a Japanese restaurant more so a day before this.
My friend and I shared a crab, and it was sooo good! They charged by the pound, and you know that when they do that, it won't be cheap.
My friend also ordered herself a salmon entree. She enjoyed it very much. I don't experiment much with salmon out at restaurants because I usually end up very disappointed. I got a bite of this dish and it was very good, not dry at all.
Here is a shot of the clam chowder. Honestly, I didn't think it was all it was hyped up to be. Don't get me wrong, the soup was good, but not something I have to have again. McCormick & Kuleto's Seafood Restaurant
