**COMMENTING**
Hi guys, I've have been having a big issue with spammers on this site so I have to add the static phrase element to all comments. With the commenting system on this system, you may need to click on the "Post Comment" button, rather than pressing enter on the keyboard. I hope this doesn't hinder the comments, I appreciate them all! Thank you!

08/27/2007: "Kat's Sushi"

Kat's Sushi is a tucked away Sushi joint that offers affordable and good quality sushi! You can either go for ala carte style (expensive!) or the all you can eat ($20.00 USD)...now how can you pass up that offer? All you can eat sushi? Not the puny lesser quality stuff that Todai offers, the good stuff. Allyna and I both took advantage of this deal. The only thing is...you have to continually order the sushi as you finish up. It's hard to go crazy when you have to constantly face someone to go crazy to. This particular night, there was only one other pair present...this restaurant is actually pretty small so...if it's not busy...the sushi chef and waitress pretty much watches you as you chow down.

Hidden treasure.

Interior shot of their sign, what is this called again? I know there is a Japanese word for it!

Sushi Bar and Frank Delima.

Take a seat...

Here's the menu! You can see all the prices and notice, if you go for the all you can eat...you cannot leave behind any rice!

Wasabi and gari.

Wasabi spreckles.

Here is your warning, we ate a lot. Here is the first sampling, a trial run of the different varieties.

Close-up of the sake.

Hand-roll samples. As you can see, spicy tuna is included, Genki Sushi is still the winner.

Speak of the devil, close-up of the spicy tuna.

Another round, yeah I'm not going to keep count...

I love saba.

Here a close-up of the ahi, not too red...but still delicious!

Yummy, another round.

As you can see, we sampled a lot of white fish this round. I also love hamachi. We really did like the sake, so I think we kept ordering it. smile

Doesn't this close-up of the unagi look perfect? I used to love unagi, and when I say love, I mean I used to go out of my way to get it. Now, I rarely eat it. I'm not quite sure why, but I do still enjoy it.

Last round of the hand-rolls.

Doesn't that look oh so delicious? It's making me quite hungry!

I think we might have gone a little earlier than their dinner rush (at least I hope we did!). This is a great place to dine, but I wish it was a bit busier, then I wouldn't feel as insecure pigging out too much! So I suggest you go with a big crowd...smile The prices are pretty good, I would definitely go back to try it again. This post definitely makes me want to check out Yanagi Sushi, I hear they're the best! I will try to make my way over there.
