**COMMENTING**
Hi guys, I've have been having a big issue with spammers on this site so I have to add the static phrase element to all comments. With the commenting system on this system, you may need to click on the "Post Comment" button, rather than pressing enter on the keyboard. I hope this doesn't hinder the comments, I appreciate them all! Thank you!

09/05/2007: "Lunch of the Day - Cold Saimin Salad"

Just a simple lunch I prepared one day! The most work goes into the chopping of the toppings, so not hard at all! Very enjoyable!

Home-made Cold Saimin Salad...

More pictures of my lunch!

Upclose shot of the ingredients. I know a lot of people that don't like raw green onions, I love them.

Yummy...all mixed together. Next time, I will probably cook up the spam to serve with this dish.

Many stores only sell somen salad, but I enjoy the texture of saimin salad much more. I actually got this in a pack from Marukai. It comes with fresh ramen noodles and the sauce pack. I'm not a huge fan of the sauce, so next time I would probably use a somen salad dressing. In that case, all I would need to do is buy fresh ramen noodles. Yum yum!

Haha, so funny you blog about this. I just emailed my mom to ask her for her somen salad dressing recipe, which is the best!
