**COMMENTING**
Hi guys, I've have been having a big issue with spammers on this site so I have to add the static phrase element to all comments. With the commenting system on this system, you may need to click on the "Post Comment" button, rather than pressing enter on the keyboard. 10/01/2007: "Sanoya Rahmen"

I've heard nothing but good things in the past about Sanoya Rahmen, so I decided to give it a try. Actually, Kristian and I have been on a little ramen experiment. Hopefully if I have time, I will post all the results. But let's start off with the first week, Sanoya! Here goes...

Corner of the street...can't miss it! Parking is located in the back, not a lot...but luckily we arrived early.

Sanoya Menu.

Kristian had the Wun Tun Ramen ($5.50 USD).

Close-up of the wun tun.

I had the Butter Ramen ($5.45 USD).

Plentiful bean sprouts (you have no idea).

It also comes with some char siu and well, butter...

Here is the butter part of the ramen. Yes, I did not expect just a slab of butter being thrown in right before service.

Noodles shot.

Too much bean sprouts.

Shot of the broth.

Semi-burnt gyoza ($3.25 USD).

Do I ever not like gyoza? Okay wait, I take that back. You will see in a future post...a place in which I actually did not like a dumpling. It is quite the miracle.

So what's the verdict on Sanoya? A big thumbs down. Our food was not at all flavorful or delicious. The food did indeed come out pretty quick, but that isn't what always counts. At Goma Tei Ramen, they are quite quick as well and the taste is always there. And something else I noticed? This place is run by Chinese people! Honestly, I would like to go to a ramen place that is authentically Japanese, down to the kitchen staff. My butter ramen consisted mainly of bean sprouts (there seemed to be a whole package of them!) and Kristian's wun tun had very little flavor. Will I be returning to Sanoya? Not anytime soon.
