Hi guys, I've have been having a big issue with spammers on this site so I have to add the static phrase element to all comments. 10/31/2007: "Roast Duck and Baby Bok Choy"

I'm constantly talking about my favorite foods! It seems like the list is never ending, but I must add this one! I'm sure I will be adding more posts about it, but yes, roast duck is one of my favorite foods. Especially the roast duck coming from Nam Fong in Chinatown. They are the tried and true restaurant and almost always has a line out the door. For this particular recipe, I decided to stir fry the roast duck with some great baby bok choy. Here are the pictures:

Roast duck, shredded and ready for the wok.

Here are some of the things I threw in, roast duck, mushrooms, shallots and garlic.

Baby Bok Choy stalks, washed.

Here are the leaves of the baby bok choy. I separate the leaves from stalks because the leaves cook way faster than the stalks do!

I love the smell of garlic sauteeing in the pan.

Stalks are in...

You can tell they are heating through when the stalks become somewhat translucent.

Oh boy, when I added the leaves, I didn't think anything else could fit!

As always though, the leaves will cook down to half it's original size.

Here are the shallots, I originally cooked them with the mushrooms...but I realized afterwards that the mushrooms weren't as fresh as I wanted them to be.

So I just heated through the roast duck!

A perfect mix...I had this over some whole wheat pasta which I did not enjoy. This is definitely a dish to eat with rice.
