**COMMENTING**
Hi guys, I've have been having a big issue with spammers on this site so I have to add the static phrase element to all comments. With the commenting system on this system, you may need to click on the "Post Comment" button, rather than pressing enter on the keyboard. 11/26/2007: "Kenny's Restaurant"

Kenny's Restaurant has been a Kalihi favorite since they opened their doors nearly 40 years ago. They offer diner food at a great price, which is why I have returned time and again. Unfortunately, if I were to choose between Kenny's or Anna Millers, my choice would lay in the latter. It seems that every time I come to Kenny's, I always get horrible customer service and this time was no exception. Why don't we let the pictures speak for themselves?

Table setting

Fresh rolls and butter

Yum, buttery...

Miso soup and tsukemono

Close-up of the miso soup

Close-up of the tsukemono. It looked and tasted premature. I don't like tsukemono that hasn't been preserved long enough.

French Fries, not too bad

Golden delicious

Yakitori Chicken ($12.79 USD), comes with miso soup and tsukemono

Side salad

A plate is not complete without macaroni salad

Rice with the yakitori set

Fried Rice with Two Eggs ($7.69 USD)

Side view, look at that fried rice!

This was huge, I could only eat half...and that's a lot!

The experience was all right. We were seated in the far end corner of the restaurant. After quite a while, a waitress comes up to us in a huff and says, "I guess I'll be your waitress." Great reception huh? I guess we were forced to be served by her, and I felt it. We put in our order after a few minutes and well...that was just about the last time I saw her. Our food took a long time and was brought to us by other servers. It took me a long time to wave her down just to get my check. I was very unhappy. The food was mediocre, nothing that is a must have or that I can't get anywhere else. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
