**COMMENTING**
Hi guys, I've have been having a big issue with spammers on this site so I have to add the static phrase element to all comments. With the commenting system on this system, you may need to click on the "Post Comment" button, rather than pressing enter on the keyboard. I hope this doesn't hinder the comments, I appreciate them all! Thank you!

12/13/2007: "The Crab Tank"

Once again, I am lacking in the posts! Can you believe it's so close to Christmas? I promised myself that I would enjoy Christmas this year. I have so far...enjoying the little things. But I think it's time to stop the enjoyment and start the stressing, I need to get my gifts in order! I have been sick lately and work has been a bit hectic...I apologize! But here is a post to make up for it all! That is, if you're a seafood lover. smile The Crab Tank is a precious little gem tucked away in the City Square of Dillingham. If you ever get a chance, I highly suggest you give them a try! Let's allow the pictures to speak for themselves...

Such a variety! I'm a bit crazy because I constantly drive out to Kahuku just to partake in some garlic prawns...although that has died down as of late. The Crab Tank is definitely a great substitution for me, my car and wallet...smile

Store-front

Their crab prices are always changed according to market price...

Simple decor, I like it.

Medium (1 lb.) - Peel-n-Eat Garlic Shrimp ($10.00 USD)

Perfect shrimp...

Here's a shot of the same dish on another visit. Very different in presentation...haha

Look at all that garlic...

Do many of you get freaked out by the heads of shrimp? They're my favorite!

This particular shrimp dish does not come with rice so I order a side of rice ($1.50 USD). Here is a shot of the rice on my second visit, they gave much more this time than before. The first time I got a side of rice, it was about half this size.

Inconsistencies aside, this place is great. I love the food, it's just simple and delicious down home cooking. There isn't much seating at this place but that's quite all right for me! I hope you all get a chance to partake in this wonderful shop.

I read about this place on the Weekly Eater column some time back and have always wanted to go. But it takes convincing my daughter to go when I'm on my trips home. But your post here has convinced me that I should just go! Looks so ONO!
