03/16/2008: "Matcha (Green Tea) Cookies"

Happy early St. Patrick's Day to you all! Oh boy, I just realized that I'll be posting some pictures of green cookies just in time for this holiday. That's pretty funny. I've been closing commenting in some of the posts I have on here because of those damn spammers! When I tried to do password commenting, that didn't work too much so I'll just stick to my deleting. Anyhow, here are some green tea cookies I made for a little tea party. I wasn't happy with the taste at all, so I won't be posting a recipe. I did realize that what I want to make is...matcha french style macaroons but that will be a while from now. Let me share these pictures because I just think they're so cute!

These cookies were made completely from scratch, including the white chocolate ganache filling!


I love these star shapes...

Anyone have any good matcha macaroon recipes? I would love to make some soon! I have a lot of leftover matcha powder.
