**COMMENTING**
Hi guys, I've have been having a big issue with spammers on this site so I have to add the static phrase element to all comments. With the commenting system on this system, you may need to click on the "Post Comment" button, rather than pressing enter on the keyboard. I hope this doesn't hinder the comments, I appreciate them all! Thank you!

03/25/2008: "Tonkatsu Ginza Bairin"

I had a business lunch at this restaurant a few weeks ago and was wonderfully surprised! I don't usually order katsu dishes, but this place specializes in making some great tonkatsu. The whole experience was wonderful and I am more than happy to return one day soon! Here's a quick hint, if you want free parking...you should come here for dinner. They offer a great validation.

Restaurant exteriors...

Beautiful interior shots.

Restaurant menus...

My water shots are back!

Table settings and seasonings...

Wonderful hot tea, I'm pretty sure it was oolong tea...

My and I ordered the special. I had to include this picture because My's finger wanted to make a cameo in my blog...

Here is their lunch special, weekdays only.

Cabbage salad.

Good rice too! I think the rice and salad is all you can eat, if not, you get at least one refill? Does anyone know?

Namasu

Baby bok choy with miso dressing, I LOVED this.

Miso soup

Upclose of the tonkatsu, it's perfectly moist and delicious!

The tonkatsu tastes very good with tonkatsu sauce and a little bit of mustard.

The special also comes with a piece of salmon.

The salmon was wonderful as well, not dry at all.

Linda got the Bairin's Signature Special Pork Tenderloin Katsu-Don ($18.00 USD), whew long title!

Yum, there it is!

Chopstick shot!

The Original Bairin Pork Tenderloin Katsu Sandwich (no salad) - $8.00 USD

Looks a bit like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich doesn't it? Anyhow, My got this for her boyfriend. It's a good sandwich, but not really worth eight dollars.
