**COMMENTING**
Hi guys, I've have been having a big issue with spammers on this site so I have to add the static phrase element to all comments. With the commenting system on this system, you may need to click on the "Post Comment" button, rather than pressing enter on the keyboard. I hope this doesn't hinder the comments, I appreciate them all! Thank you!

04/23/2008: "Greetings from Arizona!"

I have been so bad with posts again, and now I'm in Arizona! Don't worry, it's only for a work trip so I will be back in Hawaii at the end of the week. Missing the local grinds already! I haven't had rice for days! What is going up with that? Heehee, I know I know...gotta try the local foods...which I have. The big thing down here seems to be Mexican food...which sad to say...isn't my favorite. I did get to go to Olive Garden last night...so expect a full post on that. I'm taking random pictures here and there...but nothing substantial. I don't want all my peers to think I'm too crazy...yet. smile

Anyhow, it might be a bit late to ask...but anyone have anyone have any good restaurant picks? I'm in Tempe...renting a car at the end of the week! Woohoo! Well, hope you all are doing well!

Hi Hawaii born and raised...I didn't even realize they had all those local eateries! Although I wouldn't go to those places, that is interesting to know! Shoot, wish I could have talked to you before I left. I would have loved to try some persian and hungarian food! LOL

I just returned to AZ and realize you probably have already left. There are 'local' eateries: Aloha Kitchen, Ono BBQ and L&L. There are Vietnamese, Korean (fancy kine not family type), Brazilian, Thai, Japanese (very high end), Persian, Hungarian, etc. restaurants. There was a great Jamaican place and an Indonesian restaurant, sadly, they have closed -- sigh ... and there is/was a Cajun place in Scottsdale.

Hi Alan, thanks for the post anyway! I did end up trying a great place called T.C. Eggington's and loved it! Do you live in Phoenix?

smileSorry for this late post. I did not turn on my computer until this morning. To answer your question, there aren't many great Italian places in Phoenix. People will disagree, but I have tried a whole bunch and I can't find any. As for Cajun, there aren't any too....sorry.
