05/30/2008: "Hilo Lunch Shop - Hilo, Hawaii"
We planned a little road trip over to the other side of the island and decided to grab some take-out from Hilo Lunch Shop before heading out! Oh boy, I have never seen such a long line for a lunch shop...but that is always a good sign! The food was well worth it and held me over for the VERY long drive.

I just love how the sun's rays are breaking through the clouds in this picture.

Whenever we did work on the Big Island, either just for the day or maybe overnight, after catching the first flight out of Honolulu and arriving in Hilo, first place we went was to Hilo Lunch to get our lunch for the day. Then we'd go to Ken's for breakfast after which it was off to KMC or PTA to tend to our work.
