06/21/2010: "Genki Sushi – Hong Kong Style"
That’s right! Genki Sushi is bustling in Hong Kong too, much to my delight. We had a Genki in my hotel so I could get my fill of Genki anytime. I’ll share some pictures of my visits there in this blog. Yes, I went there more than once…but the menu differs greatly from Hawai‘i. First of all, no spicy tuna! That’s my main staple, and during my second visit, I’m pretty sure I had an allergic reaction. I think it was a piece of fresh snapper sushi I had, and well, my mouth like swelled up like a balloon all night! That was pretty scary, but let’s let the pictures tell the story.
Sorry I didn't have too much pictures of food! I really enjoyed that HK offered up a lot of more exotic sushi choices. Other than the allergic reaction, I loved it. I also was able to purchase a really cute green tea set that comes with a packet of their green tea powder and their cute Genki tea cups. I gave it away as a gift.
