Hi guys, I've have been having a big issue with spammers on this site so I have to add the static phrase element to all comments. With the commenting system on this system, you may need to click on the "Post Comment" button, rather than pressing enter on the keyboard. McCormick & Kuleto's Seafood Restaurant - San Francisco, CA

They always say, if you visit San Francisco, you must always try the great clam chowder at SF's Fisherman's Wharf. So in the middle of our excursion to San Francisco, we hunkered down at McCormick & Kuleto's Seafood Restaurant, it was definitely upper class and had a great view of the water! Wish I had a picture to show you...but here are some good eats from the restaurant!

Beautiful shot of the restaurant outside...

Genki Sushi

One of my ABSOLUTE favorite foods in the world is spicy tuna. There are many places that serve it, but there is only one place that I could never do without. Genki Sushi, I'm not sure of the status of the restaurant in the nation or even in Japan, but they serve the best spicy tuna I have ever tasted. Enough with the jabbering and on to the slobbering...

Genki Sushi's Mascot? What's the word for that...

White Chocolate Ganache Cake

My coworker and I decided to head out to Sam's Club today for lunch and let me tell you, never go shopping on an empty stomach. Today's little splurge just proved my point right? So what did we do? We brought back dessert for the office! My coworker brought back some custard pie, and I brought back a beautiful little white chocolate ganache cake! I couldn't believe Sam's Club had such a beautiful cake (I'm very used Costco). Well, I should stop the talking and start the salivating!

Top of the pretty pretty cake...

Portuguese Soup

I've been on a bit of a low-carb diet as of late, thanks to the south beach diet. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure the sausage and carrots in this recipe does not follow it's guidelines, I think for the most part it is still pretty healthy! It is made mostly of vegetables and broth after all. I do modify recipes a bit so I omitted the beans and added more vegetables...which really turns it into stew! Comfort food is great as always.

P.F. Chang's

P.F. Chang's has finally arrived in Hawaii, and I must say...it is great. I have visited this place about three times. The first time I visited (which is what this post will be composed of), the food was great but the one thing I hated was the mandatory valet parking. Well, I'm happy to report that now, it is all self-parking. Thank god! This is going to be somewhat of a short blog and I apologize!

Let me light the way (okay bad joke)....

Lola - Seattle, WA

Part II of my trip to Seattle. Lola was a quaint little greek inspired eatery. It was located right in the lobby of Hotel Andra, we got to eat there twice, but both times only for breakfast. Well, the breakfast I thought was pretty good. So let's get onto the pictures!

I'm not quite sure why I took so many interior shots...

More interiors and a little bit of food...

Assaggio Ristorante - Seattle, WA

I visited Seattle over a year ago and am still in love with what I experienced. I didn't get to capture a lot of the good eats we had, but I will share two places I enjoyed. And interestingly enough, both of these places were either within the hotel or right by it. Assaggio Ristorante is a restaurant we decided to try out because we thought it was related to the Assaggio's we have here. We were wrong...haha...but let's see what went on.....

A view of the restaurant's art. Sitting across from us, I think, was either the owner or head chef...

Shokudo

Shokudo Japanese Restaurant & Bar is a great restaurant with an awesome ambience, they serve traditional Japanese food with a modern twist. Here's a few pictures of the exterior and interior from the restaurant's website:

Looks great right? Well let's get right to the food!

Rokkaku Restaurant

Rokkaku is still considered a pretty new Japanese restaurant in the heart of Ala Moana. If you are planning to go there, you can expect great food, for a great price. But was it worth it?

A shot of the pretty chopsticks for the meal...

Here was our appetizer...beautiful crab!
