Hi, thanks for visiting my blog! Now that I have webspace and a handy camera, I hope to update this quite a bit with tasty morsels of food. This blog will include commentary and pictures of restaurants I eat at plus recipes and pictures of foods I make! I will try to make the posts as detailed as possible so I hope you all will enjoy it.

On a recent visit to an expo at NBC (Neal Blaisdell Center), I got a great taste of what the Hokulani Bake Shop has to offer! Ten dollars for four cupcakes is a bit pricey, but believe me, it's all worth it! If not for the taste, for the looks! So here's a quick price of what I got in that little set.
Kenny's Restaurant has been a Kalihi favorite since they opened their doors nearly 40 years ago. They offer diner food at a great price, which is why I have returned time and again. Unfortunately, if I were to choose between Kenny's or Anna Millers, my choice would lay in the latter. It seems that every time I come to Kenny's, I always get horrible customer service and this time was no exception. Why don't we let the pictures speak for themselves?
Hey guys, sorry for the lack of updates again! I've been quite busy with work and come home quite exhausted. I had lunch at Shokudo on Sunday and completely forgot to take pictures! The nerve of me! We had some great food...Seafood Dynamite Dip (not so good), Garlic Shrimp Rice (Awesome) and Kristian had their Miso Glazed Salmon (He enjoyed it!). Anyway, let me jump in and get a new post up before I head off to work. I attended a birthday party at Natsunoya Tea House recently and it was great to see a traditional tea house in my neighborhood! I was a bit disappointed by the quality of the room, but the food was great!
I truly love Kaimuki. Within a few blocks, you can find so many electic shops and restaurants...and this neighborhood shows no sign of slowing down! As Kristian and I was walking around one day, we happened upon Hokkaido Ramen. A quick glance at their menu peaked our interest in yet another Ramen shop to check out. So how did it all go? Ruth's Chris Steak House is a restaurant I've wanted to try for quite a few years. I've heard nothing but great things about this restaurant, and decided to try it during the summer. Actually, I was so impressed by the restaurant that I tried it twice in the summer! The restaurant is a bit pricey, but the service and quality of food makes all the costs totally worth it. So here's my extended post based on two visits. Enjoy!
My friend's boyfriend recently had a birthday and I decided to whip up one of his all time favorite cakes. Pineapple Upside-Down Cake is such a great and classic cake for parties, and I'm happy to report that he loved it! So I am here to share that recipe. 
Before Hawaii got their Denny's and IHOP, Anna Miller's Restaurant was always and actually still remains the go to restaurant for great breakfast! Great food and prices at any time of day! This restaurant is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year! How can you lose? While I don't have one single dish I love, I definitely enjoy coming here for some good old comfort food. And when strawberries are in season, their fresh strawberry pie is hard to beat. So here's a quick post on a recent meal we had.
